I am using a S loom for this blanket. My only caution is that you will use a lot of yarn. I have use 14 skeins so far and its not half way done. I was lucky enough to have yarn given to me from a woman that was going into a nursing home and could not take all of her yarn with her. I also would suggest that you make one first for practice using scraps, before you spend alot of money on yarn. This is may second blanket and looks nicer than my first since I have learnt how to make nice edging. I am ewraping a row and then purl (rotating)
